FUNDA Community College in Soweto was founded during the 1980’s in response to the need for education in Soweto and its neighbouring communities. Today, FUNDA continues to provide practical and sustainable educational and cultural programmes to individuals from a number of social demographics.
FUNDA is a non-governmental organisation, and is reliant on sponsorship for its continued contribution to educating those communities who were historically disadvantaged. The Joburg Art Fair offers an opportunity to showcase the work of the students  and  teachers  of  the  FUNDA  Visual  Arts Department,  as well as providing a platform to network with individuals
